Certainly, you can modify a publication already online at any time. The post URL remains unchanged, and the latest version will automatically be made available via any delivery channels you've employed, whether social media, email, embedded websites, or downloads made by your readers.

You can embed mp4, mp3, jpeg, png, gif, svg files, animated or not, in an Omnibook publication.

Omnibook is not a PDF file editor. You can only publish PDF files in Omnibook. To find out more, see the question "What documents can I publish with Omnibook?"

The Omnibook editor is not yet available as a downloadable version for offline use.

To save your publications, you must register with Omnibook to obtain a secure cloud space that will serve as a personal library to store all your publications.

There is no limit on the number of documents you can create in Omnibook. However, your cloud library has a space limit. You can purchase additional space by contacting us or, except for the free license, you can download and archive your unused documents to free up space. Please note that Omnibook's publishing, sharing and sending services are only available for documents stored in an Omnibook library.

Except for the free license, all content in your Omnibook library is downloadable and can be stored on any digital media at any time. Your ePub and PDF files will remain in their original formats. Omnibooks are archived in web format, allowing you to retrieve your content and potentially convert it into websites. However, to our knowledge, there is no other service that allows you to read Omnibooks online or offline on all devices and systems.

As soon as you start a job in the Omnibook editor, whether it's a new creation or an edit, your work is automatically saved in real time in a draft. This ensures that you don't overwrite the published version, if any, and never lose your work in the event of a connection failure.

If you experience a malfunction or crash in the Omnibook editor, here are the steps to resolve most issues:

  • Refresh your browser page. This will not erase your work, as it is automatically saved in real time and will be redisplayed after page refresh.
  • Check your internet connection and wait for better bandwidth if it is very low.
  • Make sure you don't have any ad blockers enabled, as they can also block some editor functionality.
  • Check your browser extensions and try again after disabling them to make sure none of them are causing a conflict with the Omnibook editor.

There are no geographical restrictions on the part of omnibook in the distribution of its services. The only limit lies in the quality of the bandwidth, linked to the distance between users and our servers. On this point, no restriction in connection times is applied in order to allow the service in all conditions. However, if you want to create more advanced animations for other objects in your publication, you will need to design them outside of Omnibook. Editing is always done without responsive (in desktop mode), you have to go to preview or reading to test the small screen sizes in real life.

  • Layout sections and grid components automatically move into a single column if their content exceeds. It is recommended to use sizes in pixels (px) rather than percentages (%) for icons and logos to avoid excessively large or small sizes (you will quickly see this).
  • If you want elements to remain opposite each other, you must use a flexible list, without line breaks.
